Description
The
Spitfire HDP (High Definition Plasma) profile cutting machine
is designed for very high precision plasma arc cutting. To achieve
this purpose, the Spitfire HDP uses the latest technology in design
and CNC.
The
High Definition Plasma process produces a super compressed plasma
jet, yielding an energy density teo to three times that of a standard
plasma, resulting in narrower kerfs, squarer edges and minimal
waste. This allows for precise cuts with edges approximating laser
quality in terms of squareness and smoothness. The power supply
provides a selectable current output for cutting most metals from
guage p to 25 mm thick depending on the plasma system used. A
shield gas is also used, which is a combnation od Hydrogen, Nitrogen
and Oxygen. This provides an atmosphere around the plasma arc
on the surface of the workpiece, aiding the cut quality and cooling
the sjield at the front of the torch.
The
Spitfire HDP integrates the BURNY controls and drive systems to
give optimum cuttung quality and performance.
The
Spitfire HDP frame is constructed from mild steel fabricated design
to resist vibration.
The
Spitfire HDP features a double side longitudinal drive using linear
bearings ensuring highly accurate motion.
The
Operators panel offers easy operation, speed control, plasma control
and other functions for manual and automatic cutting.
