Standard Specifications

  • Notch grinding of pip diameters up to 150mm
  • Contact rollers are available in all diameters from 20 - 200mm. The GU grinder comes with a comtact roller (standard accessory) for 42,4mm pipes.
  • Cross adjustment of the slide with threaded spindle is a standard feature.
  • The changeover from belt grinding to notch grinding is quick and easy.
  • Grinding of all mitres from 30 - 90 degrees.
  • It takes approx 10 to 30 seconds to grind a pipe of 43,4 mm diameter.
  • Built-in adjustable depth stop.
  • We recommend the machines with two speeds, i.e. 1500/3000 1/min (2H)
The optimal revolutionary speed for pipes smaller than 35mm amd for thin-walled stainless steel pipes is 1500 rpm. This will ensure less heat, discolouration and burr on the finished article and a longer belt life.
  • Dust extraction is necessary and we recommend connection to a central extraction system.
