Product Description

An optional muting system "MU" is available to allow the temporary suspension of the safety function whilst pressing and other material handling functions take place, without switching off the machine.

This is designed to facilitate two particular applications:

  • on punch presses during the return of the tool to the die position, or during the forming of metal in order to increase productivity.
  • on assembly lines and automated material handling systems such as palletizing adn wrapping machines.

Each system consists of one barrier and two sensors (to be supplied by the customer). They must both be energised within 0.5 seconds in order to start the muting action. Otherwise muting will not occur.
