Product Description
The
optional sequential muting system MS is similar to the MU
but with the addition of a sequential programme in order to
increase safety and reliability in automated handling systems
and transfer lines.
This
system requires a sequence of events to take place before
it will operate. Each system comprises:

ENTRY
- one barrier and four sensors
- EXIT
- one barrier and three sensors
All
types of sensor can be employed with any type of barrier.
During
the muting operation, other forms of protection must be utilised
to prevent operators from entering dangerous areas near the machines.
Any
interruption of the sequence or malfunction of the sensors will
be detected and muting will not occur. |
